GTX Pirate Wine
An exciting wine deriving from producers Terra de Falanis. The vines used to grow the grapes for this wine are found at between 900 & 1,100 metres of altitude. GTX in the title makes reference to the grape variety Garnacha.
Due to the rugged landscape, the vines have never been treated, apart from some with hand sown sulphur. The fermentation is alcoholic and malolactic and takes place for a period of just over a year in a large 2,000 Litres extra fine grain French Oak tino barrel coming from bodega Ànima Negra in Mallorca.
As this is vinified outside its region of cultivation, it does not hold a year, variety, or indication of origin on the label.
